The year 1987 was not only the 1st release date of the Disney Dollar, but there were 3 series issued in the 1st year of production (1987).
The dollars could be used in both Disneyland and Disney World but the 1st series (serial numbers beginning with A), contained the phrase “May Be Used As Legal Tender Only At Disneyland” in error.
That is exactly what this Disney Dollar is, a RARE piece that contains an error or mistake, whereas on the front right face, the phrase states "May Be Used As Legal Tender Only At Disneyland."
