Cute Toucans!!!! Bold Vintage Mola from  Panama Handmade by the  Cuna Indians of the San Blas Islands.  Reverse applique and many layers of fabric. Intricate stitching. Measures 17 1/4 x 12 1/2 inches.  Photos are taken in different lights so you can get a better idea of the vivid colors.
Purchased in the 90s in Panama.  Included is a photo of the brochure from the shop. There is a .00 tag still attached from the original shop - a lot of money in early 90s in Panama.
