Vintage Mola Handmade Textile Art from Panama by the  Cuna Indians San Blas Islands  Reverse applique and many layers of fabric.
Measures approximately  15 x 12   inches  Purchased in Panama in the nineties and stored for at least 25 years. Photo of brochure where mola was purchased. I took photos with and without flash.
I have framed Molas and used them as pillow tops and on clothing, and also handbags, etc
Condition is "Used". I don't know that it is used, but I have read that the Cuna Indians would sew these into the women's blouses and then later sell them.  Some of the fabric looks washed.
