Cox Interceptor or Magblaster modern R/C Radio Control Conversion Kit

Description

These are custom designed and 3D printed parts to convert your Cox Interceptor or Magblaster to a modern Radio controlled system.  This is a DIY project that requires some understanding of RC components and drilling several small holes in the body of the car for mounting the components.  This conversion only updates the steering component, it does not provide for throttle control.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  This item includes only the parts shown in the second photo, the car is not included.

Parts Included:
Electronics box for receiver and receiver battery
Servo mount with screws

Additional parts required but not included:
2.4GHz RC transmitter and receiver.  I used the Flysky FS-GT2F 2CH 2.4GHz Transmitter&FS-GR3F Receiver combo that can be found from other sellers on eBay for less than .
Receiver battery
MG90S micro servo with servo horns and mounting screws
Servo push rod or piano wire
Rubber bands
Highly recommended: Cox exhaust deflector or muffler to direct exhaust down below the body of the car.  Without this addition to the engine the hot exhaust may result in the melting of the electronics box along with an excess of oil that may cause damage to the electronics.
