VINTAGE HAND CARVED FULL SIZE LIGNUM VITAE CRAB
Vintage Hand Carved Quality Collectible LIGNUM VITAE (IRONWOOD) CRAB.
Dimensions: 13" L; 6 1/2" W; 1 3/4" D.
As Purchased; No blemishes other than those of the natural wood.  Purchased personally in Ciudad de Panama, Panama in the mid 1990s … Carving probably dates to mid-1980s, though no provenance.
Unique one-of-a-kind Hand Carved and Polished full size Crab of Lignum Vitae wood.
Super Quality Carving … there are no markings to identify the artist.
Note:
The carving appears to be of one piece, though it is not 100% that the claws have not been attached separately … very well done and a quality piece either way.
